Wake to the Caldera, Steps from Oia's Sunset
A whitewashed hideaway down a quiet stepped path, with a private plunge pool and uninterrupted caldera views.
Finding Your Way to the House
The house sits down a stepped pedestrian path off the main road into Oia — cars cannot reach the door, so plan for a short walk with luggage from the nearest parking area. Park at the public lot near the Oia town entrance, then walk down Agiou Nikolaou Steps, following the blue door markers. The house is the third whitewashed door on the left, past the small chapel, where you'll find the lockbox mounted beside the door frame. Please note the final stretch is stepped and not easily managed with large suitcases — let us know your arrival time in advance and we can arrange a porter from the car park for a small fee.

Everything You Need, Right Where You'd Expect It
Exploring Oia from Kyma Caldera House
The house sits within easy walking distance of Oia's main square and its celebrated sunset viewpoint, yet stays remarkably peaceful thanks to its tucked-away, stepped-path setting.
Getting around: Most guests arrive by taxi or rental car to Oia's public parking area, then walk the last few minutes down the stepped path — a car isn't necessary once you're here, as the village itself is walkable.
Checking Out
Check-out is by 11:00 AM. There's no need to strip the beds — just close the shutters, make sure the pool cover is on, and leave the key in the lockbox.
- No smoking indoors.
- Please keep noise low on the terrace after 10pm — sound carries between the caldera houses.

Down a Quiet Path in the Heart of Oia
Kyma Caldera House sits down a stepped pedestrian path off the main road into Oia, Santorini — a spot guests describe as remarkably quiet despite being just a five-minute walk from Oia's main square and its famous sunset viewpoint. Cars cannot reach the door, so the final stretch is on foot, but once inside, the village's beauty is close at hand and the peace is complete.
Tucked down a stepped pedestrian path just five minutes from Oia's main square and its famous sunset viewpoint, Kyma Caldera House offers something rare in the village: real quiet. Guests wake to caldera views directly from bed, without needing to walk anywhere, and can cool off in the private plunge pool on the terrace — sized just right for a refreshing dip rather than laps. The house was recently refreshed with re-plastered terrace walls, a new plunge pool, and proper blackout shutters in the bedrooms for darker, more restful mornings. It's a peaceful base for couples and honeymooners who want Oia's beauty close by, without being in the middle of it.
